We're holding elections for the following roles on Wednesday 27th of May, 5pm.
Membership is required by Wednesday 13th of May, 5pm in order to vote.

Roles
- Ethnic Minority Representative - Facilitate engagement & create a more welcoming environment in the society for students of colour with an interest in Computer Science. Host varied events to support these goals.
- Postgraduate Representative - Facilitate postgraduate engagement with UWCS events, and create a welcoming environment for PGR/PGT members. Hold varied events to help create this community.
- Outreach Officer - Coordinate with the rest of exec, building and maintaining relationships with external organisations and stakeholders - e.g. sponsors, external speakers, Uni departments and other societies. Assist the treasurer with negotiating sponsorships, and academics with organising external speakers.
Ethnic Minority Rep is a protected role to those self-identifying as members of an Ethnic Minority.
Postgraduate Rep is a protected role to only PGT/PGR students. This role will be elected again in term 1.
To stand for any of these roles, you need to email the DRO with your name, student ID and a short manifesto (manifesto not strictly required).
Motions
Constitutionally changing motions must be received by the DRO 7 days before the election.
If they are received after Wednesday 20th May, 5pm they will not be voted on.
Non-binding motions can be raised at any point, including on the night.
Deputy Returning Officer
A Deputy Returning Officer is an impartial person who is in charge of the election and vote counting.
